Lauren and I were both feeling a bit burnt out and overwhelmed by the competitive and comparative nature of running

our own small businesses, after chatting and maybe a few glasses of wine - the idea of a totally EQUAL -

photographers retreat was BORN!

 

Our vision is lots of laughs - community, FUN, creativity and inspiration and NEW friendships.  

 

We decided there needs to be more reasons to  CELEBRATE friendship and collaboration

even between girl bosses who might be in business in the same field.

 

We want to build each other up, inspire each other - and just make more friendships and connections within the industry.

 

We are hoping to STOMP out the negativity  that can often times tear us down!

 

We are SOOOO excited about this first retreat — and hope to continue it every year -

maybe in different locations and with more photographers!

 

This will be MOSTTTLYYY fun and hanging out with a little bit of creative “work” as well. 

Keep in mind - there is no “teacher” …. Or mentor / mentee situation going on here…. This is completely COLLABORATION and fun. 

We are NOT making money on this trip. The cost is $400 per participant - and that covers lodging. 

All activity and meal fees will be paid for separately on our own. 


The headshots are optional — but we thought that Duluth / the air bnb might be a fun place to photograph each other

- and update our headshots for social media (if ya need to!) 

The shoot out at palisade head will be a styled shoot - fun and creative and a chance to try new poses and  

see other photog's approach to the same session! 

We HOPE you can come join us - and be a part of the VERY first of many retreats we hope to host!
